Fourth Class: Lab Review - Team Organization Phase

You all have already completed one Lab session. Each one of you was expected to complete 4 assignments and then collaboaratively assess the performance of each team member, which automatically roles up to Team performance.

While doing the assignments, many students had problem in looking up my Delicious bookmarks and adding my Bimtech calendar. To view my Delicious bookmarks you need to add me into your network. My Bimtech calendar was another domain and hence to make it easier, now Eugene has created another "BIMTEH ERPLabs" calendar, which you should be able to add to your calenmdar. This will be demnstrated in the class.

The assessment spreadsheets are evaluation of each individual team member. The summary sheet is role up of all team members. Many students had missinterpreted the procedure. We will see in the class the correct method.

The second Lab session that will follow after this class will include assignments 5 through 9.
Assignment 5 is to create 10 prospects who will be interested in buying your product, the book chapter that you are going to write.  To collect this information from all team members in a consistant manner, each team will create an online form. This online form will be sent to each team member who will fill in the required details and submit. The result will be a spreadsheet containing all the information about the prospect. I will demonstrate in the class how this online form is created.
Assignment 6 is to create a draft message that you would like to email to your prospect. You will create a shared word document and write your message in that document. all your team members will read this document and advice you if any improvement can be made.
Assignment 7 is about Collaborative assessment. You have already learned about this in the previous Lab session.
Assignment 8 was determine the role of each team member. You have already completed this task.
Assignment 9 is to create a Project Charter. I have stored 2 URLs on my Delicious bookmarks which will provide you information on what should be the contents of yoru Project Charter.

Section C will have the second Lab session thiw week on Thursday, while all other sections will do their Lab next week Monday and Tuesday.

    'Invite all your team members for Google Chat'
    & 18 'Create filter to add all messages coming from TAs and your Team members to folder "CoLab"'

    I have created a group (named "CoLab") for team and added members into it. But, when I try to invite the group for chat, I fail. How can I invete members using this group name?
    I don't want to select every individual members one by one, but the whole group on one click.

    And,
    I have creted a filter named "CoLab" and tried to use created group (named "CoLab") as a filter. But, it doesn't work!
    So, how can I use this group as a filter?
    I don't want to add all individual members to filter, because if I will edit this group its members may change.
